Do you love dancing? Come learn how to clog dance! Clogging is great exercise and so much fun. You will learn a variety of basic steps and how to put these steps together to create a routine. You will learn how to freestyle to a variety of music as well. Clogging is a percussive dance form with origins in the folk dances of the British Isles, Africa, and pre-Colombian America. Settlers in the Southern Appalachian Region took elements of these styles to form a unique American dance style, Appalachian Clogging.

*We require all individuals over the age of two to wear appropriate masks in the classroom while participating in a workshop or event.

Student Supplies: Shoes for Dancing: leather-soled shoes, tap shoes, or clogging shoes. The instructor may have shoes to borrow.
