Broom Making: Besom Broom

Ages: 16+
All levels are welcome. No experience required. Some hand strength needed.
Make your very own cobweb sweep. Traditionally called a besom, this lovely broom is enjoyable to make. Join us for an afternoon of broom crafting and leave with your own besom cobweb-style broom just in time for your Spring cleaning! Bring your own special stick or build a broom on a stick collected by the instructor. There will be many shapes to choose from!
All materials are included in the Materials Kit Fee of $45, PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.
*Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.
Students may choose to bring:
- If you have pruning shears and a pocket knife you are familiar with, please bring them along.
- A special stick to use for your handle
- Apron
- Note-taking materials
*Masks are recommended but not required while participating in a workshop or event.
