Decorative Gift Wrapping: Origami Folds, Tags & Bags

Ages: Adult (18 and Up)

All levels are welcome. No experience required.

Students Please Bring:

• 1 roll Scotch Tape
• 1 roll Double-sided tape
• Ruler
• Note taking materials.
• (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.

Learn to wrap presents that look elegant but come to life with a few simple folds.  Play with a variety of box and bag techniques and finish off your creations with fancy handmade gift tags. The basics of gift wrapping will be covered as well as the simple secret formula for perfect measurements. No experience needed; just bring a playful spirit!

Instructor provided materials are included with an estimated $10 FEE PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Susi Hall has been an artist all her life and an art teacher most of it.  She loves to share her joy in making things.  With a move from New York City to Brasstown 20 years ago, she has found inspiration in the woods around her cabin for color, for shape, and for fibers to make paper.  She treasures paper of all kinds as a beautiful base for artists books, painting, and even sculpture.
