Gift wrap is expensive, not always recyclable, and usually flimsy. Make beautifully wrapped gifts with recycled materials instead! This class will cover basic gift wrapping skills and share the secret simple formula for perfect measurements. We’ll explore unique ways to wrap and decorate packages of all shapes and sizes with materials you have on hand. No experience necessary, just bring a playful spirit!
Instructor provided materials are included with an estimated $5 FEE PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.
* Workshops are subject to low enrollment cancellation if the minimum number of 4 students is not reached. You can check enrollment listed below the workshop photo. We update these manually so if you have any questions, you’re welcome to call Olive’s Porch for more information.
About Instructor: Susi Hall has been an artist all her life and an art teacher most of it. She loves to share her joy in making things. With a move from New York City to Brasstown 20 years ago, she has found inspiration in the woods around her cabin for color, for shape, and for fibers to make paper. She treasures paper of all kinds as a beautiful base for artists books, painting, and even sculpture. To learn more about her work, please visit workswithpaper.com
