Delve into crafting your own herb-infused vinegars and shrubs to enhance your cooking, beverages, and wellness! We’ll cover several methods for crafting shrubs, also called sipping vinegars, with vinegar, fruit, sugar/honey, and herbs. Participants will leave with their own creation to take home.

If you're interested in cocktails, a "shrub" is a great ingredient for many mixed drinks, try your hand at making the ingredients you'd need for a tasty libation.

Instructor provided materials are included with an estimated $15 FEE PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

* Workshops are subject to low enrollment cancellation if the minimum number of 4 students is not reached. You can check enrollment listed below the workshop photo. We  update these manually so if you have any questions, you’re welcome to call Olive’s Porch for more information.

About Instructor: Bonnie Lenneman (she/they) is an herbalist and community educator residing on traditional ᏣᎳᎩ or Tsalagi (Cherokee) land near what's now known as Brasstown, NC (Itseyi), where she explores mountains and creeks, forages, makes medicine, and learns from plant and fungal teachers.  She is passionate about good (and wild) food, the intersection between food and medicine, ancestral skills, ecology, community resilience, and the healing properties of plants.
