Knitting: Fingerless Gloves

Ages: Adult (18 and up)

Beginner Friendly, lefties welcome

Student Supplies:

• Yarn: Machine washable, worsted weight yarn, also called medium or #4 of any color. You will need 200 yards to complete the project.
• Needles: Size 7 knitting needles

Looking for the perfect handmade holiday gift you can make yourself? Enjoy this fun, entry-level knitting experience making fingerless gloves. Learn how to read a pattern, cast on, knit and purl stitches, and how to finish your project with seaming.

All materials are included with a $15 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fee includes notes and pattern from instructor.

 About Instructor:

Ro Borr has been knitting since she was 5 years old! She has taught a variety of knitting and fiber arts classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. Ro is an active member of her local knitting group and enjoys demonstrating her work at the Folk School’s Fall Festival and regional art walks. She lives in the North Georgia mountains with her husband Ron.
