Ages: Adult (18 and up)

Experienced Beginners, must be able to thread a bobbin, sew a straight line and be comfortable with a sewing machine.

Student Supplies:

  • Thread and sewing machine needles.
  • Optional Items: sewing machine (*The studio is equipped with sewing machines, rotary cutters, mats, rulers, scissors, pins and pincushions. However, feel free to bring your own.)

Make a seasonal, quilted display piece for your home or as a gift. You’ll make four maple leaf design quilt blocks to fashion into a wall hanging or table runner. Experienced beginners are expected to finish their piece within the time allotted. If you sew at a slower more careful pace, Dana has many tips and tricks to learn. You may also choose to leave with the skills and confidence to finish your quilt at home.

All materials are included with a $45 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.

About Instructor:

Dana Bolyard is a modern traditional quilter who wrote "Imagine Quilts-11 Patterns from Everyday Inspirations" and has had her designs appear in numerous compilation books including, "Modern Baby," "I Love House Blocks," "The Big Book of Fat Quarter Quilts," and "The Big Book of One Block Quilts," all from Martingale Publishing.
