Natural Beeswax Candles
Instructor: Jessica Kaufman
Saturday, December 10
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Beginner Level. No experience required.
Explore the wonderful medium of natural, recycled beeswax as we learn to create custom-dipped taper candles. Hand-dipping tapered candles is an ancient practice that remains mostly unaltered. The process of hand dipping and slowly building up layer upon layer of beeswax results in a pair of beautiful beeswax candles for home or gifting. Students will make at least two pairs of candles.
All materials are included in the Materials Kit Fee of $15 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.
*Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.
Students will need to bring:
- Apron (optional)
- Note-taking materials (optional)
- Wear comfortable shoes for standing and clothes that can get waxy.
*Masks are recommended, but not required while participating in a workshop or event.
