Both color and saturation play a huge role in how a quilt will look once completed. For certain elements to pop and be visually distinguishable, color is key. This session will discuss the importance of color, hue, print, and scale when selecting fabric for a quilt. Students will also learn tips and tricks for building a color palette and to love and maximize the fabric they already have in their stash. Students are free to bring fabrics and/or patterns they are considering, and the group as a whole can troubleshoot and help create the perfect fabric selections to achieve beautiful quilts.
All materials are included with a $0 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.
*Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.
