Quilting Skill Builder 4: Binding a Quilt

Ages: Adult (18 and up)
Experienced Beginner, must be able to thread a bobbin, sew a straight line and be comfortable with a sewing machine.
Student Supplies:
- Thread and hand sewing needles.
- Optional Items: thimble, pins or multipurpose sewing clips
Learn how to make binding, attach it, miter the corners successfully, and blind stitch by hand to the back. The instructor will demonstrate how to make binding. You’ll then be supplied with a mini quilt and binding to attach and master the skills of a beautifully bound quilt.
All materials are included with a $25 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.

About Instructor:
Dana Bolyard is a modern traditional quilter who wrote "Imagine Quilts-11 Patterns from Everyday Inspirations" and has had her designs appear in numerous compilation books including, "Modern Baby," "I Love House Blocks," "The Big Book of Fat Quarter Quilts," and "The Big Book of One Block Quilts," all from Martingale Publishing.
