The image of a cross is synonymous with the Christian holidays. Constructed from natural reed, these simple woven crosses are a beautiful representation of this iconic design. Students will learn a basic version to start, and progress to a larger, more intricate design. *We require all individuals over the age of two to wear appropriate masks in the classroom while participating in a workshop or event.
All materials are included in the Materials Kit Fee of $10, PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop.

About Mark Hendry:
Mark Hendry is a full-time artisan specializing in historic handcraft with a focus on using natural materials. With over 30 years of experience as a professional teacher of fine and performing arts, both in private, public, and magnet schools, Mark travels throughout the country teaching all levels and ages. He teaches regularly for the John C. Campbell Folk School & Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts, is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, and is currently the director and resident artist for Mountain Heritage Handcraft, located in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
