General Information and Policies
How early should I register?
Our workshops are small and may fill quickly, so we recommend you register as soon as possible to get your workshop of choice. If you are interested in a full workshop, you can sign up to be notified if seats become available.
Registering early also gives our instructors adequate time to prepare class materials, which can be extensive. It also gives you time to acquire supplies you might need to bring to class (student supplies are included in the course description).
How can I register?
Registrations are accepted by phone, in person, and online at www.olivesporch.org
Will there be materials fees on top of workshop tuition rates?
Materials fees are collected at the time of the workshop and vary from class to class. Some workshops have an additional materials fee payable at the time of the workshop as well as additional supplies students should bring to class. Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.
How will you determine if a workshop will run? When do you make that decision?
Olive's Porch will determine if a workshop runs once a minimum number of students are registered. Decisions to run a workshop will be determined 5 business days before the start of the workshop or by the registration deadline noted in the workshop description. Business days are M-F except for holidays.
What is your cancellation policy?
The full tuition is due at the time of registration.
A cancellation fee of 25% of the total workshop fee will be retained for cancellations made by 5 pm at least 10 business days before the workshop's start date.
Cancellations made less than 10 business days before the workshop's start date are not eligible for a refund.
Should you decide you want to transfer to a different workshop, we charge a Transfer fee of $10.
Transfers are not accepted after 10 business days before the start of the workshop.
Business days are M-F except for holidays.
