All levels are welcome. No experience required.
Students Please Bring:
- Fabric scissors if you have them.
- Note taking materials.
- (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.
Come and learn basic embroidery stitches used in creating your very own appliqué pillow. This is a great way to spend the day either learning new skills or perfecting skills. We will be making a hummingbird with a flower, or a possum. Pillows are a fun way to bring in the next season or share with a friend or family.
An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $30.00 THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Caroline Workman has been a fiber artist for most of her life. Doing needlepoint with her grandmother sparked her creativity and imagination at a young age. She now concentrates on making appliqué mittens and pillows with wildlife themes. She has had her work for sale at the Folk School's Craft Shop for many years. She considers art a significant part of our lives and sharing both the process and the final product is important to wellbeing. She encourages everyone to remember to see the beauty in everything.
