About Instructor: Larry Cooper has been a full-time blacksmith since 1986. With a lifetime of working with his hands, he became interested in spoon carving after meeting a spoon carver in 2017. Realizing the simplicity of the tooling and techniques involved in making Sloyd style spoons, it seemed like second nature with the amount of time he spent outdoors. He began to explore this fascinating craft and enjoys sharing his knowledge as much as encouraging more people to take up spoon carving.
