Falling in Love with Watercolor

Ages: Adult (18 and Up)

Experience Level: Beginners. No experience required.

Students Please Bring:

• Old plastic credit card that can be cut up
• Old toothbrush
• Ruler
• Kneaded eraser
• Sense of adventure
• Note taking materials
• (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle, filtered water is available in the classroom.

 This class is designed to introduce beginners to the basic techniques of watercolor. Students will experiment with different brands of professional watercolors while participating in instructor led simple exercises. If you’ve always wanted to try watercolor, don’t miss this opportunity.

June will provide a selection of brushes, paint, and 6 sheets of paper for the workshop as well as palette for use during the workshop.

There will be a 1- hour lunch break. Bring a sack lunch or explore local dining options.

An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $35.00 THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: June Rollins, Blairsville, GA, began working in watercolor 24 years ago. She’s taught many workshops, encouraging students toward developing their own distinctive styles. June is a signature member in the Watercolor Society of NC and the Southern Watercolor Society. She also works in traditional oils and alcohol inks.
