Experience Level: All levels are welcome. No experience required.
Students Please Bring:
- Gelli Printing Plate 8 inches by 10 inches (Available at Olive’s Porch, estimated cost between $25 -$30. Registered students will be able to use their 10% discount when purchasing)
- Apron and non-latex gloves
- Clothes that you can get dirty, the paint we’ll be using does not like to come out of fabric
- A sketchbook if you keep one
- Any stencils you would like to work with
- Low relief texture items: mesh bags that fruit comes in, think similar thickness, low relief surfaces that you don’t mind getting inked
- (Optional) Paper from home that you’d like to print on besides what the instructor will provide.
- Come to experiment and play!
- Note taking materials.
- (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.
Gelli monoprinting offers playful creative experimenting! It is mixed media, painterly, markmaking, where pretty much anything goes. The resulting pieces can stand on their own as a work of art or become part of another creative project. It expands one’s creative possibilities in endless ways. Please join in this workshop’s community creative play!
An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop (which does not include a Gelli plate for printing) is estimated at $20.00 THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Pam’s professional Artistic journey began after graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design. Her practice combines being a practicing artist and teaching artist. Sharing her passion for the arts through teaching, ever expanding mark making possibilities, continues to inspire her teaching practice and art making.
