Ages: 16 and Up. Minors must have a parent or guardian registered for the same workshop and present throughout in order to participate.
Learn how to construct a felt book to organize & store your hand sewing and embroidery needles. This project is fun and functional. Students will be able to customize their books with decorative stitching and embellishments.
Experience needed: All levels are welcome. No experience required.

An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $15.00. THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Sarah Roberts is a hand embroiderer based in Atlanta, GA. Her work explores themes of textile heritage and family ties within vernacular and traditional fiber craft techniques.
In addition to earning Mentorship & Technical Certification with The San Francisco School of Needlework & Design in 2023, Sarah is currently working towards a Certificate with the Royal School of Needlework. Sarah is also interested in needle and bobbin laces, quilting, sewing, and crochet.
