Use traditional basketry materials and techniques to create this stunning woven tree topper. Measuring 15” in diameter, this beauty is double sided featuring an intricately woven herringbone design. All materials and tools needed will be supplied; Printed instructions to repeat this project at home included.
Students Please Bring:
- Note taking materials.
- (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.
An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $30.00 THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Max (Mark) Hendry is a full-time artisan and instructor of historic handcraft, specializing in brooms & basketry, with a focus on working with natural, ecologically harvested, renewable materials. With decades of experience as a professional teacher of fine and performing arts in private, public, and magnet schools, Max travels across the country, teaching all levels and ages of students from beginner to advanced, ages 3 to 93. He is director and resident artist for Mountain Heritage Handcraft located in the mountains of North Georgia.
