Olive's Porch believes that the classes, experiences, and skills we offer play a meaningful role in everyone's well-being. To make them as accessible as possible, our workshops are offered at three pricing levels, so each participant can choose the rate that feels right for them.
Tuition is a Sliding Scale Choose What Rate Fits for You:
· Sponsorship $175 - For those who have enough to share
· Standard $125 - Reflects the standard cost for this workshop
· Scholarship $75 - For folks who would not have access to this workshop without sponsorship

All levels are welcome. No experience required.
Location: This workshop takes place on the John C. Campbell Folk School Campus in the Book & Paper Arts Studio. It is number 26 on the Campus Map
Students Please Bring:
- Note taking materials.
- (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle.
Learn basic relief printmaking skills to use at home to make personal greeting cards for holidays and general use. Friends love them! You'll learn to carve a plate, ink it, and print the image numerous times to create multiple original art prints to keep, send, or give away. It's easy and fun, and you'll take away knowledge of one of the oldest art forms in the world.
An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $25.00 THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Gay Bryant is a printmaker and painter who maintains a private studio in Knoxville, TN. She has been painting and making prints for forty years and has studied art at The University of Tennessee, University of West Georgia, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and the Folk School. Gay has taught at the Folk School since 2004 and has been a juried exhibitor at the school's annual Fall Festival, where her playful paintings and prints always bring a smile. She is a member of the Foothills Craft Guild, Tennessee Craft, the Knoxville Museum of Art, Art Market Gallery, and the Knoxville Arts and Culture Alliance. www.gbryantstudio.com
