In this hands-on class, I will discuss principles involved in knife sharpening, including bevel angles & knife geometry, forming and removing a burr, pressure & angle control, knife steels, and abrasives. Kaleb will demonstrate each step in the sharpening process, which will then be followed by hands-on practice under my guidance. My intention is that we will have time for you to sharpen one knife, while gaining some experience and beginning to get comfortable with each step involved in sharpening a knife.
