Discover the timeless craft of letterpress printing! Perfect for beginners and creative enthusiasts alike, this workshop guides you through the process of designing and printing your own set of beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards.

Experience needed: All levels are welcome. No experience required.

Students Please Bring:

• Ideas for phrases/words to put into the cards
• Note taking materials.
• (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.

An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $15.00. THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Rachel Watson is a contemporary artist working in installation, alternative photography, printmaking, woodworking, and jewelry. Watson received her Master of Fine Art from the University of Georgia in 2020. After her masters, she digitized the 7,000-piece collection at Newcomb Art Museum in New Orleans. Originally from Georgia, Watson currently resides in North Carolina where she renovated an elementary school into a nonprofit artist residency and concert venue, Elf School of the Arts.
