Ages: 18 and Up
Joyfully explore this fun instrument. Depending on your experience we’ll start with the basics, learn chords and slow jam to build confidence while learning to play with others. We will use a Ukulele songbook to inspire us with rock n’ roll songs, and classic rock.
Experience needed: All levels are welcome. No experience required.
Students Please Bring:
- Ukulele (Concert, Tenor, or Soprano)
- Please contact Olive’s Porch if you need to borrow an instrument for the workshop.
- (Optional) Tuner or phone with tuning app.
- Note taking materials.
- (Optional) A snack and/or water bottle. Filtered water is available in the classroom.
An additional fee for materials provided by your instructor for this workshop is estimated at $0.00. THIS FEE IS PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop. Material fees may change depending on the number of participants and price of materials at the workshop. *Payment by cash or check is required for materials fees.

About Instructor: Marvin Daniels started woodcarving in 1994 and eventually found his niche in caricature carving. He began teaching in 2001. Marvin's designs include cowboys, Indians, bottle stoppers, Santas, woodspirits, and wizards. He has won numerous first-place and best of show awards. Marvin’s other passion is music–first as a career, then as a hobby. He has taught guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and 5-string banjo for most of his adult life.
